Join author Michael D. Morgan Oktoberfest weekend as he leads a special tour that that visits places and explains events that he writes about in his new book about early OTR history, "Over-the-Rhine: When Beer Was King".
The tour will travel the length of Vine Street, talking about early neighborhood history and politics. Participants will travel through the Crown Brewery, Kauffman Brewery, and end at the future home of the Christian Moerlein Brewery.

Both tours are the same, will be approximately 2 and half hours, and will start and end at the new Christian Moerlein Brewery (located at 1621 Moore Street) where there will be special Oktoberfest events all weekend long.
Tours are available with a specially priced copy of the new book, and all tickets include a beer ticket good for use at the brewery all weekend. Purchase additional copies of the book HERE.
At this time, no more online registrations are being taken. Walk-up tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the following times:
There are no physical tickets being mailed to participants. All participants should come to the future Christian Moerlein Brewery (located at 1621 Moore Street) to check in and sign waivers. Books and drink tickets will be available at check-in. We would recommend showing up at least 10 minutes before the tour starts to ensure you don't miss anything.

Note that there is some walking on this tour, including spaces not usually accessible to the public. Children or persons having difficulty with steep stairs are not encouraged to attend. Participants will be required to sign a waiver before beginning the tour (available HERE). Complimentary beer tickets will only be provided to those with proof of legal drinking age.
