Pilot Loan Program

The Brewery District is working with the City of Cincinnati's Pilot Loan Task Force, along with the Corporation for Findlay Market, to provide administration and support to a residential redevelopment project consisting of 6 buildings around Findlay Market.

There are several goals for this program:

• To convert the properties to owner-occupied, single or two-family homes with off-street parking.
• To encourage foot traffic around Findlay Market, increasing safety and making additional development projects more feasible.
• To test a development loan strategy that could be used throughout the neighborhood and other areas in the city.
• To encourage the development and funding of complimentary programs to buy up blighted properties and make them available for the lending program.
